Stunning 1930s Art Deco waterfall dressing table vanity. Crafted during the height of the Deco movement, this piece beautifully showcases the era's signature dramatic geometry and rich wood framing. The vanity features a striking, extra-large circular mirror accented with elegant perimeter etching. It sits atop a classic kneehole desk configuration boasting a beautifully curved central apron. The front faces showcase highly figured burl wood veneers with a rich, warm grain pattern, framed by subtle outer edge detailing.

Storage includes four deep drawers—two stacked on each side—outfitted with their original elongated brass pull handles. The top surface features the iconic seamlessly rounded "waterfall" front edge that defines this celebrated period of American furniture design. Perfect as a bedroom dressing station or a statement entry piece.

While the piece does not retain a manufacturers label, it does have an oval sticker, "Design Registered Furniture Code Authority Copyright 1934", was a short-lived compliance sticker used during the National Recovery Administration (NRA) era in the United States. These were issued strictly between 1934 and 1935 during the Great Depression which indicates the piece is nearly 100 years old.

Condition Notes
Very good vintage condition. Consistent with age and use. Solid structural frame with smooth-gliding drawers. Minor surface wear, light scratches to the original finish, and faint silvering/age spots on the original mirror which add to its authentic antique character.
